Love and Doing It

Posted: November 27, 2015 in Uncategorized

When you built me a hut

away from the drowsy storm

and flowers like a vineyard

around my weary breast

It was muse and music to my soul

as I had observed you

squeeze water from a stone

in spite of your aging knees

palsy hands and vibrating legs

as sickness is to a new born babe.

Your tears were unknown

and thus,

I realized we do not unmake old friends.
